Imagine if you will a tragic story of love.  Silver bug spies blue bug from across the floor, gets all a twitter - feels the butterflies of imminent love then discovers sadly that blue bug is actually squashed. Silver bug's distress then turns to terror as it discovers the cause of blue bugs' demise. Dunt, dunt, duunn.  All set to the heart breaking love song "We'd Make Great Pets."

...but you will have to imagine as I not only failed to get music overlayed, I also was unable to upload the clip. bah!

Yes this would be my directorial debut. Sad but true.

Introduction

I have a new endeavor, and despite my shyness and limelight avoidance I have committed to put it out there, hence the blog. Basically I am embarking on a 365day project (366 this leap year). I could tell the whole backstory but the Reader’s Digest version is, I’ve contemplated doing a daily project ever since I read Julie and Julia however, my recent purchase of the book 365 A Daily Creativity Journal has made me commit to doing one. Essentially I hope to produce one creative thing a day for the next year. And having serendipitously discovered said book in December, it seemed only fitting to make my starting date January 1, 2012.

What is the project you ask? Well for the last two weeks I’ve been a bit all over the place having many interests and therefore ideas for what to do. Needless to say I went to bed last night still not having chosen my subject. But this morning, thanks in part to Go Diego Go (yep I’m shaking my head too) I have decided that I’m going to embark on a year of bug making.

I can't promise anything will be a masterpiece, or even good, but its the discovery and doing that is important for me. So here goes...
