A 365 day project of glorious bug making. Insects of all types, creepy crawlies, beautiful butterflies, melodious crickets. Doesn't matter what bug or what medium. Likely nothing will be a masterpiece (there's not time for that) nor even all that good. This is a no pressure, anything goes zone. The point is to invite creativity into my world, produce and put it out there. Happy making.
I used steam on the bathroom mirror. I erased the negative space so it would leave the impression of a mosquito in steam. The trick was trying to get a photo of it. The reflections were tricky.
more info about how this was created please.

ReplyDeleteHow did you erase the negative space, what produced the steam, and how fast did you have to work? -- unless that's a secret.
ReplyDeleteWith a rubber sculpting tool that looks remarkably like an eraser only wedge shaped. My morning shower and quickly.
